NYS Main Street Program

With revitalization of downtown Ticonderoga in the fore, PRIDE of Ticonderoga has secured funding from the Housing Trust Fund Corporation through the NYS Division of Housing & Community Renewal to provide financial and technical resources for building owners along the main street in Ticonderoga. Grant amounts in 2004 and 2005 totaled $345,675 and are currently being used to renovate the facades, interiors, and apartments of thirteen buildings on Montcalm Street.

The pre-application is a first step in the process of qualifying a downtown builing in Ticonderoga and owners should send the completed pre-application to PRIDE. The New York Main Street staff will be on hand to meet with owners for one on one conversation and orientation on the details of the New York Main Street Program grants.
